On this website a “panorama” refers to the result of the “Panorama” setting on digital cameras and smartphones, which stitch together multiple exposures recorded while “sweeping” the camera across a scene.

“Panorama” photos as defined above are always disqualified by Q3. They are considered TCQ-ineligible and cannot qualify for the “Guaranteed TCQ” label under any circumstances.

The usage described above reflects the now-common meaning of the term (thanks to a “Pano” button on hundreds of millions of smartphones).

Old-fashioned “panoramic” photographs made using a single exposure of a wide-angle view — made without moving the camera at all and typically presented, often cropped, in a long length-to-height ratio — are of course eligible to qualify for the “Guaranteed TCQ” label.
